ABU DHABI, 3rd October, 2026 (WAM) — The Ministry of Interior (MOI) and the Fujairah Environment Authority have signed an MoU to step up cooperation and coordination in preventing and combating environmental crimes. The MoU was signed by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and Asila Abdullah Al Mualla Al Hashemi, Director-General of the Authority. SHARJAH, 3rd October, 2026 (WAM) — The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) completed scheduled maintenance on 138 33kV substations during the first half of 2026, and reviewed and approved 367 engineering plans for new substation projects and electricity network development in line with approved technical standards and specifications. DUBAI, 3rd October, 2026 (WAM) — Dubai Police General Command will organise the second edition of the “Proud of the UAE” cycling race on Sunday. The 80-kilometre race will start from Nad Al Sheba Centre at 6:00 am as part of this season’s cycling programme, organised in cooperation with the UAE Cycling Federation, Dubai Sports Council and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
