CAPITALS, 17th September, 2026 (WAM) — Gold prices rose more than 1 percent on Thursday after hitting a near six-week low in the previous session.

    Spot gold was up 1.1 percent at US$4,310.49 per ounce as of 01:49 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery were down roughly 1 percent at $4,348.70.

    Spot silver rose 1.4 percent at $63.83, platinum firmed 1.6 percent to $1,780.55 and palladium climbed 2 percent to $1,295.00.
